Evening Prayer July 17, 2012

Mercy guide my heart and my hands, my words and my deeds, my dreams and my daylight hours. When I would turn away from the way of bearing hope and mercy, when I would sow sorrow rather than ease suffering, when I would forsake my aspirations and promises, turn me back that I may be steadfast and faithful. Mercy guide me, for you inspire me, change and challenge me, now and every day of my life. Amen.
