Peace guide us all in each night and each day. When we feel insignificant, ground down, and worn out, grant us the mercy of kindness, a steady companion, and a chance to give the gifts we have for goodness’ sake. When we would turn away from the work of peace and the courage of transforming love, help us endure in what is needful and what is good. When we are cast upon sorrow’s ground, bear us up and grant us comfort, hope, and bold hearts to carry on. When we have reason to give thanks and to celebrate, let us share those reasons, give thanks with our neighbors when they have reason for thanksgiving, and celebrate with our neighbors when they have reason to rejoice. Peace guide us all in each night and each day, from moment to moment and from hope to hope. Amen.
