Evening Prayer July 9, 2012

Thou who makes and keeps this life’s brilliant dyeworks, we seek to comprehend and embody the purity and tranquility of blueness, the healing restorative greening, the joy and passion of yellow, the sacrifice and wonder of saffron, the tenderness and compassion of violet, the energy and commitment of crimson, the nurturing comfort and safety of brown, the reflective capacity and selflessness of absence, and the blackness that embraces all, encompasses all, welcomes all back home.
