Peace past understanding, challenge and change us to make welcome and make room for one another. Grant us the wisdom to know which fears are in our way from being more loving and more generous, and grant us the courage to then lean into greater love and generosity. Challenge us to change where we need changing, when we have failed and can learn from those failures, when we have truly sinned and need to turn away and seek to make amends and forgiveness, when we are faltering just because we are frail and fallible and know sin. Challenge us to change with love and encourage us on the broader and better way, that we may yet surprise and be surprised by joy and peace, love and grace, wonder and kindness. Amen.
