Though it often seems that justice sleeps under long winter snows, frozen and far away from mercy or from love, Most Generous and Most Compassionate, help us remember that true justice is a blessing, one the bears mercy and healing in caring accountability. Help us cherish that merciful justice, and make it real in our words and deeds and dreams, letting it guide us into the hope and the healing love that can seem so hard to find. Amen.
