We know not what lies ahead. So much of what lies behind is so very far away. Yet all you ask of us, Beloved, right now is to be here right now, to dwell in this moment, and breathe, and return to thankfulness. Breathing in these quiet minutes, let the tears come, the fears, the anger, what needs comforting and letting go. Beloved you offer us the space for healing, and for that we give thanks. Breathing in these quiet minutes, let the hopes come, the joy, the dreams, and the gratitude, what needs holding onto and celebrating. Beloved you offer us the space for rejoicing, and for that we give thanks. Breathing in these quiet minutes, let the not knowing be present, the confusion, and the trepidation, what needs attention and stillness. Beloved hold us in the stillness, and then hear our thanksgiving. We still know not what lies ahead, but here, in the beauty of this moment, we can and do give thanks for this moment's blessing. Amen.
