Blessed is this and every day, though this is a day when outrage, grief, anger, fear, and confusion grip hearts and homes, neighborhoods and cities, nations and continents. Mercy, let us come together to what is needful and what is right, to bring comfort, to ease suffering, to live generously, to love boldly, and to keep on steadfastly through every trial. Amen.
