Waking in wonder at yet another day, my lamp of faith is kindled again. Love give me courage to unshield that lamp and let my light shine forth in my words and in my deeds, in my stillness and in my busyness, at home and in the world at large. Each day has its responsibilities, and those are blessings. Love lead me to keep learning and to apply the wisdom I have painstakingly gathered, to fulfill those responsibilities and to add to the blessing of this world. Each day has its moments of awe and wonder, when my soul is refreshed again and my heart remembers its faithful promises. Blessed indeed are those gifts of surprising joy! With this refreshed and thankful heart, let me go forth to what the day asks and offers. Amen.
