Love make us strong in our convictions so that we risk faithfully every day, lending one another courage and help, learning from all we meet, and joining together in our weaknesses and our strengths to bring more peace, more mercy, and more justice in our hearts, homes, neighborhoods, cities, nations, and world. Love make us strong in our convictions so that we recall that the time to risk faithfully is now, to pick up the uncomfortable dialogue with those who frighten us and with whom we seem to share little, and to discover that we indeed share much, and to turn that sharing into beneficent action. Love make us strong in our convictions so that we risk faithfully every day, giving of ourselves to others and to this earth, and being vulnerable enough to risk receiving from and needing others, and grounding our entire existence in gratitude for the gift, each and every day, of this life.
