What a marvel it is to have a heart, to have yearnings and dreams, to have gifts and talents! Beloved, help us help each other, affirming and encouraging one another in dreams worth dreaming, in yearnings that are good and require much of us and affirm life, in using the gifts we have for goodness, and in sharing our talents profligately. When we are struggling with temptations, may we have the courage and steadfastness of heart to find someone who can help us steer away from those temptations. When we are able, may we have the courage and steadfastness of heart to seek out those in need of compassionate and wholehearted encouragement away from temptation, dissolution, and despair. Beloved, your words tell us you cherish us. May we take heart in that truth and in turn cherish one another, boldly, compassionately, nightly, daily, and always faithfully. Amen.
