How marvelous and mysterious this life can be! Mystery of mysteries, as we follow you from one wow to the next, we dwell in grateful amazement. Out of this reverence for and from life, may we pursue living whole-heartedly and risk faithfully every night and every day. What is the miracle of a meal? Of this earth, of this life, may we prepare each meal and offer it with love. May we appreciate each meal and receive it with grateful awe, thankful for the love given and received, for life given and received, for the duty to us, now nourished, to give back to this astounding whole to which we belong. Mystery of mysteries, we follow you all our days. May we pick up again and easily on the track of reverence when we had thought we had lost the way, turning back because of a shared meal, a kindness needed that we might give, or a companion whose pursuit of wow drags us whooping along into awe. Amen.
