Whether the way ahead be well traveled and maintained or whether it must be carved out with others or created anew, may Mercy guide us all. When we would judge harshly, may we pause and consider again if connecting in a more compassionate way is possible, and, if possible, to do so. When we have done wrong, may we be swift to seek reconciliation, to make amends, to ask for forgiveness. When we are asked sincerely to forgive, may we be ready to do so. When we want to hold back from caring, may we find our spirits refreshed long enough to go ahead and risk faithfully to care. We make the way together. May we do so guided by Mercy, for the sake of all. Amen.
