Is it evening already? Blessing of Blessings I give thanks for this day. I give thanks for the sweetness of loving care, for the gift of being part of growing goodness in this world, for the steadying song and word of hope and mercy that mark my days and nights. Blessing of Blessings I give thanks for this night to be. I give thanks for the gift of rest, when rest may come, and for the gift of starlight and stories of courage and imagination. I give thanks for my life, the imperfections and the wonderfulness that happens because of them, the vulnerabilities and the lovingkindness that happens because of them, the faithful risks I can take and the joy that comes from them. Blessing of Blessings I give thanks. Amen.
