Lover of Life, Lover of Change, we may not know what lies ahead, what waits around the next bend, what is supposed to happen next. Grant us good songs to sing and good companions for these times of unknowing, of waiting, of wondering, of trembling, of adventuring. Lead us in the dance of love through all these changes, both those we neither sought nor caused and those we sought or created. Lover of Life, Lover of Change lead us in the dance of learning in these changes, from our faltering and our failing, from our curiosity and our sharing, from our trying and succeeding. Grant us the courage of our convictions to keep answering our calling to be bearers of love and hope, peace and mercy now and all our days. Amen.
