Some mornings, Beloved, we wake and all our cares and responsibilities seem to weigh upon us, so much that we fear we may break. We do not want to fail those we love, those who depend upon us and those on whom we depend. We do not want fewer responsibilities, for each of these that we hold are roots of love, community, and stewardship that make us who we are. Let us breathe for a few moments with you, Beloved, our hearts touching the wondrous and sustaining whole, that we may remember how we love and are loved, how we depend on others and others depend on us, how we are part of this amazing world, blessed and part of the chance to bless it further. Let us breathe in love and find our hearts a little readier for this day, glad for the responsibilities we bear and that bear us, glad for the ways we are called to care. Amen.
