Beloved, we call to you in the evening from gratitude for the beauty of this day: for the work, the disappointments, the wonder, the joy, the grief, the enduring that makes up the beauty of this day. Beloved, we dance with you in joy for the blessings of the day, the blessings known, the blessings unknown, the blessings cherished, and the ones we do not quite not what to with yet. Beloved, we call to you with many names and with none at all, our hearts opening and closing and struggling and rejoicing, in knowing your many, many names, and in our unknowing. Beloved, we call to you from our heart of hearts to attend with you transforming curses and desecration into blessings and joy. May we delight in this life, and make it one worthy of and full of rejoicing for all. Amen.
