Bless this day and all that is in it for me. My heart leaps up to the treetops, following the birds in flight, and follows the squirrels busy and still reminding me to play. For such easily known blessings, I give thanks. My heart struggles with the pain that grips me and insists on dancing right this moment. Turning to my dance partner, let me find a blessing here, one that wakes and blossoms with practice, leading me back to wonder and the more graceful blessings of the day. For such difficult blessings, Love help me find my way to thanks. Going from easy blessings and easy gratitude into the difficult and long-fought, may I stay attentive to the presence of love, the presence of wonder, the presence of yes that calls me day by day to live wholly, blessing and being blessed. Amen.
