Gentle, my heart, before this day has even fully started, slow down enough to breathe and whirl awhile in wonderment for the gift of this day. There is too much to do not to while in awe for a few moments, to give thanks for those who bring their whole amazing selves through difficulty and hardship, to give thanks for the signs of another season waking into being, to give thanks for the love we feel strongly tugging us along to live generously all our days. There is too much to do not to be, to whirl in wonderment at the gift of this day and the gift of this life, yes, even with its pain and its obstacles, its troubles and its worries. There is too much to do not to claim and create joy, not to claim and create blessing, first dancing in the waking of this morning in awe and thanksgiving. Gentle, my heart, for this day is underway. It is too amazing, too blessed not pause and give thanks. Amen.
