Each morning when we wake may we number our blessings, give thanks for them, and turn toward how we may aid and abet the blessing of this world. Blessed indeed is what sustains and encourages us to risk faithfully from day to day, for so many of us struggle with challenges every day. Let us give thanks for learning from our struggles, for the chance to grow faithfully day by day. Let us give thanks for those who join together in loving boldly enough to encourage neighbors, family, and strangers with heart and with faith, and may we be in that number. Let us give thanks for the faithful risks we can take and the calling to take them, and gather up our hearts and hopes to make the way ahead. Each morning, even when blessings might seem few in number or very far away, let us wake and name them, give thanks, and turn toward how we may aid and abet the blessing of this world. Each blessing changes much, each one of us able to make a positive difference. Amen.
