When the morning breaks my heart rejoices for the dawn, the breath of life, the waking of hopeful possibilities. When the evening wraps its comforting cloak around me, my heart rejoices for the night, the dreams of wonder, the renewing of body and spirit. In between morning and evening rejoicing, may I keep giving thanks, attending to what is needful and good, and rejoicing every moment that is possible. Beloved, this life is full of so many good and wonderful gifts, given and received, free to all, and brought into being by each of us to be given away. May we be glad for these gifts, glad for this life, glad for the morning, the evening, and each breath in between. Amen.
