Laugh with us, Beloved, in our impatience to be able to wait open-heartedly and actively for the blessings of this life to take root and flower. Laugh with us, Beloved, as we want the seed to be in bloom moments after planting, the bloom to never fade or give way to the next seed, or for the dormant time to bless us with rest. Laugh with us, Beloved, in our hurry to grow wise, when wisdom requires the ability to be patient, that is, to wait open-heartedly and actively, aiding the growth and sharing of the blessings we can, celebrating the ones we receive, and holding fast to trust in how love transforms the world. Laugh with us, Beloved, and in our laughter, may we find the way to grow a little more patient, live a little more open-heartedly, and keep nurturing the blessings we know and the ones that we have failed to recognize or not met quite yet, but may meet tomorrow. Amen.
