The day of doing calls us forward, insistently, persistently, even if this is a day without much, apparently, to be done. Beloved, help us love what is needful and attend to caring for one another and this planet with gladness and good cheer. The day of doing calls us forward. Let us not forget in our doing, in working steadfastly toward a world more fully blessed by love, the wonder of being, and pause and breathe and be held in the heart of being. Let us not forget in our doing, in working toward a world more more fully blessed by peace, the amazing fact of our being at all, and pause and sing a song with the sound of being. Let us not forget in our doing in working toward a world more fully blessed by kindness, the blessing of being kin to each and to all, of belonging simply by being here right now, and pause and give thanks for this day. The day of doing calls us forward. May we love boldly, be kinder than is easy, and create peace with all we do and are. Amen.
