Love, you remind us that no matter how small we are, no matter how dismissive others may be of our gifts, our hopes, or our dreams, we yet have ways to aid and abet goodness in each and every night and day. We matter, whether we are recognized or not, and what we do and do not do matters, too. Love, help us remember that always, so that we may choose kindness over cruelty, courage over despair, constructive generosity over hoarding and fear. Love, you hold us, welcome us, remember us, and help us hold, welcome, and remember one another. May we do so boldly, faithfully, night after night and day by day. Amen.
