Beloved, we're seeking and finding and seeking again all our lives. As we seek happiness, let us pause long enough to discover how to grow happiness from deeds of kindness, from living in surprise and wonder with the beauty of the night, from risking for love's sake and discovering sweetness in return. As we seek peace, let us pause long enough to find our breath and our reason before the argument gets out of hand and bitter words are spoken, and from there wend our way in the practice of making amends, and whether forgiven or not, discover what it is to stay steadfast to love until fear and anger have laid down their swords and shields and found another way. Beloved, we're seeking and finding and seeking again all our lives. As we seek, may we pause long enough to find a tiny moment of the peace and happiness we're seeking, so that we might carry on and do our part to make both real. Amen.
