Beloved, in the middle of the arguments that wake out of discontent, in the middle of the stench of dissatisfaction and the ugliness of ill use, may we stop and remember the dreams worth dreaming, the worth and beauty and unknown wonder of the hearts next to and across from ours, and help us begin again. Out of weariness, help us reach new beginnings, for in our exhaustion is when we most likely break, burn out. Breath by breath, moment by moment, word by word help us reach back out to one another in kindness and with generosity that we did not think we had left in us. Help us create the space to meet one another truly, whole-heartedly, and vulnerably in this perfectly imperfect now, of flaring light and flaring spirits driven by yearning to be seen, held, loved, met. Beloved, meet us here and help us meet each other to create together the lives worth dreaming, full of love and generosity and courage to care. Amen.
