Wisdom, is that you knocking at our hearts' gates? If we are struggling right now to understand, help us to greater knowledge of ourselves, others, our world. If we are fleeing understanding, afraid of how that might change us, help us hold onto our neighbors' hands and learn something new. If we are building and rebuilding barriers as fast as we can to hold back what takes us away from certainty, sing us to a different place, to appreciating the mysteries with which we live, and to greater courage. Wisdom, you are knocking at our hearts' gates. May we join you without hesitation, glad to learn, glad to dwell in wonder, glad to live with mystery, glad to know ourselves, others, and our world better than we did yesterday. All our lives, may we answer Wisdom's call, and help one another do the same. Amen.
