Lover of Life teach us to accept our fragility and vulnerability and not to dwell in fear, but to be bold in kindness, in caring, in generosity, in mercy all our days and nights. In our boldness, may we be surprised by joy, laugh in wonderment, and find new courage each and every day in the kindness of strangers, the caring of friends, the generosity of the earth, the mercy met that waters the garden of peace and lets every living goodness grow. Lover of Life encourage us in knowing our limits and testing them, in doing all we can to serve this life with lovingkindness, with all the strength we have and all the gifts we enjoy. And then, as we need help, as our limits are exceeded, our strength insufficient to the task, our gifts not the right ones by themselves, let us be glad and grateful for the strength of others, the gifts they bear, and the ways they share themselves, boldly generous, boldly loving, boldly kind, boldly merciful, for we all so fragile and vulnerable and in this together. Amen.
