Most Merciful and Most Compassionate, comfort your people, all your peoples who know you by many names and by no name at all, all your peoples who are one in our diversity, one in our having hearts that can be hurt and can be astoundingly generous, one in our dreaming dreams both worthy and petty, one in our yearning for healthy family, good friends, and enough. Most Merciful and Most Compassionate, encourage your people, all your peoples who today are unsure of what today will bring, all your peoples who are struggling with sickness, with hunger, with violence, with apathy, and with corruption. Encourage all these people to help one another, to work together in ending corruption and ensuring fairness and care for all, to work together and pull each other into knowing and trusting and being glad that what we do matters and that together we can make a great difference. Encourage all these people to help one another in ending hunger, in ensuring all are fed, and that poverty is defeated, rather than stalking any people in any land. Encourage all these people in caring for each other through our sicknesses, and ending those illnesses that may be defeated, in preventing those illnesses that can be prevented, in treating those illnesses that can be treated, and, always, in comforting and cheering and caring for one another, come what may. Most Merciful and Most Compassionate, comfort your people, all the peoples in all our diversity, and encourage us to this today do all we can for goodness' sake, together. Amen.
