Wisdom, may we live in thanksgiving night and day, cherishing what matters and sharing the blessings we know. May we be thankful for all our blessings, for who loves us and those we love, for the moments of awe and wonderment, for the days of grace and the experience of kindness when we have needed that very much. May we be thankful for all our blessings, for the places that sustain the geography of our hearts, for the cultures we know as ours and for the cultures that have touched us with joyful blessings in stories, song, craft, food, and perspectives not our own. May we be thankful for all our blessings, for the gifts of strangers and for the gift when we have been strangers ourselves of being made welcome, of being known as bearing our own gifts. May we be thankful for what we rightfully cherish and what we ought to cherish more, for the absence of such would cause great grief and tear a hole in our hearts. May we be thankful all our days for what is good and blesses others, even if we ourselves neither know nor understand those blessings. Amen.
