Love teach us to perceive the perfect in the imperfect, the faithful promise in process worthy of the action as well as the goal, the beauty of becoming and not being completed yet. Achievement may be lovely, but Love you teach us that achievement at the expense of learning, at the cost of competitiveness over compassion, at the loss of heart for apparent success is unlovely and needs to be limited. Love, may we learn greater graciousness through our own imperfections, greater kindness for the imperfections of others, greater gratitude for the ways others' gifts make up for our deficits, greater gladness to share our own to complement the whole. Love, teach us to appreciate the perfect in the imperfect, the faithful promise in process, and keep us steadfastly merciful through it all. Amen.
