Lover of Life this life we share is fleeting, fragile, and always changing. What a gift it is to be so fragile, always changing, so vulnerable all our nights and days, and yet how difficult it is for us to always accept that fragility, that need for change, that vulnerability as gifts, as a strength of our being. Lover of Life, may we learn well to cherish this fragility and appreciate how it guides us in caring and loving, in giving thanks for what is good, in practicing generosity and compassion all our nights and days. May we learn well to embrace the seasons of our lives, to continue growing and learning until our end, and to create good and meaningful change together for others and this world. Lover of Life, may we learn well to live open-heartedly in our vulnerability and to risk loving and giving and receiving and needing and dreaming and sharing and hoping and failing and faltering and forgiving and making amends and reconciling and healing together throughout the seasons of our lives, the changing nature of our nights and days. Lover of Life this life we share is fleeting, fragile, and always changing. May we know these gifts, cherish them, and use them well, night and day. Amen.
