Lover of Life may we all wake and give thanks for this day, for the labors that call us forth, paid and unpaid, the labors of love and the labors of mercy and the labors of justice and the labors of generosity and the labors of creating goodness in so many differing ways. May we wake and remember the gifts that we can give and move ourselves out and about to share those gifts with one another and this world. May we wake and not only remember the gifts that we can give, but anticipate the gifts of others that we will encounter, and, as we encounter them, may we give thanks again for so many ways of creating goodness. Lover of Life, may we all wake and give thanks for this day, for the work of living that needs us, each and all of us, to be part of bearing healing to the earth, bringing goodness into being, restraining and stopping what harms, and cultivating together the world in which we really wish to live. Amen.
