In the rush and bustle of these brief days, Beloved help us breathe into and create a quiet space of a few minutes or a few hours, where we may remember the peace we strive for, the peace worth holding and sharing, the peace that blesses and restores and calls us to our heart's home. In the rush and bustle of these brief days, Beloved breathe with us in the quiet, steadying our breath and renewing our care for this earth, for each other, and for ourselves. You will not lead us into selfishness or greed, but into that right balance of knowing of imperfections, our gifts, our belonging, and our persistent calling to risk faithfully, to fail forward, to strive for goodness' sake, and to delight in the good, to marvel in the awesome, to dwell at least a part of every day in the promise of peace shining into our lives while we sit still in that starlight, glad and thankful. In the rush and bustle of these brief days, Beloved may we remember to pause, to breathe, to dwell in gladness and thanksgiving, and to know peace enough to keep steadfastly on loving boldly and generously every night and every day. Amen.
