Beloved, may we savor what is yet unfinished, but worthy of our time and efforts, the joy and the challenges of working with others, our doubts and our certainties, our hopes and our dreams. May we savor what we are in the middle of making, the middle of living, the middle of seeking in answering our calling for mercy, for generosity, for justice, and for peace. In the middle and the muddle of things, may we comfort one another and encourage each other to be kinder than is comfortable and more courageously loving than we would otherwise dare. In the middle and the muddle of things, may we savor the sweetness, the toothsomeness, the whole of being, glad for this our life and to be part of the whole, glad to share our gifts and to help one another in sharing theirs, glad to give thanks and to spend our lives blessing this world, being a reason for future thanksgivings. Amen.
