Each night or each morning, every loss and every gain, everything that truly touches us in the center of our beings asks us once again to dance with Wisdom, to find our faith whether capitalized Faith or institutional Faith branded and enduring or the faith that whispers and sings outside halls dedicated to devotion as well as in streets desecrated by cruelty. In our dancing, may our hearts leap and whirl and collapse laughing in surprising joy. In our dancing, may we meet stories unfamiliar to us that over time shape and call and challenge and change us until they are our own. In our dancing, may we discover how our neighbors dance, alike and unalike, diverging and meeting, different beats and different tunes and different words and different meanings, and then the shared, the surprising, the luminous, the meeting, the gladness of learning and knowing. In our dancing, ready or not, we will be challenged and changed, charged and committed. We will meet complications and denials, avowals and betrayals, and, if we dare to make it so, comfort and courage, which requires us to give at least and usually far more than we receive. This is the wonderment of being, and it can be so very good, so much reason for dancing, Wisdom welcome in another spin. Amen.
