Lover of Life we speak ourselves into being every day, through our words and thoughts and deeds. Here we are, with a multitude of choices before us, even though we so often feel we cannot choose - there are so many choices! or there are so few! Lover of Life, we dance ourselves into being every day, through the choices we make, this way and that. May we choose well, knowing that sometimes, even with every good intention, we will make the wrong choice, a mistake, a failure, a promise breaking, a wrong turn that seemed right. But still we choose. And so often they can be good choices, choices for lovingkindness and for compassion, for the health of the earth and for the well-being of every stranger and every neighbor, including the people that irritate us and those we distrust and those who have chosen doing us a bad turn. Still we choose. Lover of Life, every day we are students of being, of becoming, through our choices, our words and thoughts and deeds. May we apply ourselves to a life of merciful justice, a humble life of illuminated by hope and wonder, a peaceful life where we stop hatred and injustice cold, a life of gratitude and gladness for being. Amen.
