Beloved may we join you today in the dance of wonderment, this calling to kindness, this life of passionate compassion. The beauty we meet challenges us to make a more beautiful life right here and right now, one that smiles over the little spills and is glad for happy accidents and ready to meet and ease the sorrow from the unhappy ones. When we are feeling rather unholy, drained of reverence and wonder, exhausted into cruelty and taking pleasure at the expense of others, Beloved, call us back through one another compassionately, steadily, lovingly and insistently to the grace of generosity, the good feelings from being kinder than is easy, the reverent awe that reminds we can dance more skillfully than this. Beloved, may we join you today, with the limited skills and patience we have, with our fumblings and our failings, not letting those imperfections hold us from good enough, from the life of compassion and wonder and beauty and kindness beyond measure. Amen.
