Our lives so very often ask us to choose between a multitude of goods, and not only one. O Wisdom, how we need you then! Just because they are all good choices we face does not mean they are all equally good. May we cultivate the capacity of discernment, of choosing better goods and not just brighter, shinier ones. May we choose goods of substance, goods that matter and lead to blessings this world needs. And when we discover we have chosen a lesser good, may we learn from that choosing and in the next choice, choose better than the last. Our lives so very often ask us to choose between a multitude of goods, and not only one. O Wisdom, may we learn the varying values of good well, and do our best to choose for blessing this world answering great moral needs, making this way a more compassionate, generous, loving, dignified, humble, equitable and just way ahead. Amen.
