Beloved we awaken again today to give thanks for the joy that springs forth and reminds us of all the good that is and can be, of past blessings and future possibilities bright and wonderful. Spring flowers send forth their fragrant reminders to wake and welcome the bees. May we do the same, shouldering aside the bitterness and cold that lulled part of ourselves to sleep, to turning inward and away from bold compassion, from making way and refuge, from cultivating hope because our own had grown dormant. Beloved waken us again today with and for the joy that sings of morning, that recalls us to all the good that is and can be, of past blessings and future possibilities bright and wonderful. Awakening, may we spring into action again, renewed and gladdened, grateful and ready for what may be - difficult or easy, bitter or sweet - in this day. Amen.
