Beloveds: friends, congregants, and family have been encouraging me to have a web presence for several years now, and here I am, dancing into it! Life in suburbia has a tendency to become routine, and in our focus on the boxes in our lives that are part of work and play, I and many people I know tend to lose track of the wonderful, amazing, mysterious, and beautiful that is all around and through our lives. Today I found the hide of an armadillo on the beach. It was bleached out, and there was nothing else of the carcass remaining. I picked it up with a stick and took it home to take a phone cam picture of it, tomorrow, when the light returns. Armadillo hide on a stick: is that not a wonderment? It was to my dog, for sure, as he rolled on it while I looked for a stick.
