Beloved you have enfolded us in your arms since the first day, the first moment of waking, the first breath drawn in restriction and in freedom. Where else would home be, but in this present moment, awake to the power of Love and the call of Mercy? We perch here, in this moment, touching the home of this time and this place, finding our way back to the heart of wholeness and holiness, the heart of hope that springs always, the heart of being that unfolds from the moment before into this one into the next. We perch here, attentive to what is, and find gratitude for what is good and courage to face what is painful and strength to sing our greeting and our welcome, glad for this day. Amen.
